# Frame2PDF > Frame2PDF is a free Chrome extension that captures the frames that matter from any YouTube video, lets you write a note under each one in a side panel beside the video, and exports everything to PDF, Notion, Obsidian or Markdown with links back to every moment. Frame2PDF turns watching YouTube into note-taking. A side panel opens next to the video and follows whatever you are watching. Capture a frame with one click or a keyboard shortcut, label it (Important, Exam, Revisit, Understood) and write a note under it while the video keeps playing. When you are done, export a printable PDF with your notes under each frame, or a Markdown note with images for Notion and Obsidian. Every frame keeps its timestamp, so one click takes you back to that moment in the video. Captures stay on your device until you export them; Pro adds a private cloud library with share links.
